On the 2nd and 3rd December I spent two days with Laurent Coq, Karl Jannuska and Yoni Zelnik at Studio La Buissonne in Pernes-les-Fontaines to record my new album. It was a great session, masterfully recorded by Gerard de Haro and Nicolas Baillard and mixed by Katsuhiko Naito at Avatar Studios in New York. This recording was made possible by generous grants from The Malta Arts Fund and the Janatha Stubbs Foundation. Jacket art design and photos by Oliver Degabriele.

Tune in to France Musique on Saturday 26th February at 23pm to listen to  Le Bleu, La Nuit presented by Xavier Prevost, for a broadcast of White Russian 5tet’s concert at Radio France.

WHITE RUSSIAN 5tet will be playing at Radio France (Studio Charles Trenet) in a double-bill with DIego Imbert on the 5th February 2011. The show will be broadcasted on “Jazz Sur Le Vif” presented by Xavier Prevost.

Paris Jazz Underground’s tour in Brazil was a great success. We did 6 nice concerts and a couple of masterclasses in Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Itajai, Sao Jose dos Campos and Recife. I would like to thank the Brazilian people for being such a wonderful audience and IRACEMA, WMP, Spedidam, Adami, Sacem and CultureFrance for making this tour possible.
